Lisa has over 15 years of experience specializing in trauma, chronic pain, illness, and unexpected loss. Understanding the multifaceted nature of these challenges, she is dedicated to guiding her clients through their difficulties with a personalized approach. Lisa's practice is deeply rooted in the values of social work, emphasizing empathy, respect, and the importance of human connections. She collaborates with her clients to uncover their core values and understand their unique experiences, developing practical strategies to navigate life's uncertainties.

Clients appreciate Lisa's integration of mindfulness, evidence-based approaches, and compassion into her practice. Her professional toolbox is shaped by a feminist/relational approach and includes techniques such as EMDR, mindfulness practices, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As a 200 E registered yoga teacher, Lisa also incorporates appropriate breathing, meditation, and movement into sessions when applicable, including IRest techniques.
