Each person has the gifts needed to take on any challenge. Sometimes people just need a little help unlocking those gifts. That is where Chad comes in. He is here to support and empower you from the very first counseling session.

A licensed marriage and family therapist and a chemical dependency counselor, Chad works with individuals and couples on a variety of issues. Some include conflict, sexual or parenting issues, and those struggling with addiction and dealing with the criminal justice system. He also works individually with clients struggling with dependency in areas of opioids, stimulants, cannabinoids, and alcohol use disorders, and those struggling with anxiety, depression, physical trauma, and emotional abuse. He has experience with various faiths and sexual orientations. He is not here to judge you. He wants to help you create positive change using the tools you already have inside of you.

Chad has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings. He has experience in private practice, a public mental health agency, and the criminal justice system. He has supervised counselors and developed treatment programs including trauma-informed group programs, cognitive-behavioral groups, and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs. He has more than 15  years of experience.

Chad takes an interactive approach to therapy. He focuses on your needs and skills, treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. He uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, family systems, and dialectical behavioral techniques. He will tailor dialogue and treatment to your unique and specific needs and goals.

It is not always easy to take that first step in receiving therapy. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life. Chad is here to help.
