Hi, I’m Melissa. I help individuals move through periods of transition with more clarity, steadiness, and self-compassion. Many of my clients come to therapy during seasons of burnout, identity shifts, uncertainty, or grief. You may find yourself reflecting on what no longer fits, feeling the weight of expectations, or longing for a life that feels more aligned with who you are now. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone.

Alongside my work as a therapist, I’ve spent eight years working within higher education. I’ve seen both the meaning and the strain that can come with academic environments, especially in times of institutional change. If you’re a faculty member, staff member, advisor, or student support professional who is feeling depleted or questioning your direction, I offer a space where you can slow down and reconnect with yourself without judgment or pressure.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and affirming. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, existential and self-compassion practices, and career development work. As a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), I support clients by considering the whole person—mind, body, nervous system, relationships, and environment. I am also trained in clinical hypnosis and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), which can help facilitate deeper emotional insight and healing when that feels aligned with your goals.

In our work together, you can expect to:

  • Make sense of your internal experience with compassion rather than criticism

  • Identify beliefs and patterns that may be contributing to stress or self-doubt

  • Reconnect with your strengths, values, and sense of direction

  • Explore changes at a pace that feels grounding and sustainable

  • Develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with yourself

My hope is to offer you a safe place to land: a space where your emotions make sense, where you are met with warmth and presence, and where new possibilities can begin to take shape. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need a place to begin. I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.
