Change can be scary. It can be overwhelming to consider making any change—big or small. But change is necessary to grow and heal. Everyone is capable of change.
To make positive life changes a person must first become emotionally aware of what they need and want out of life. What feels right? What are they unsure of? What drives them? What scares them? Once they become aware, they can then communicate their needs and desires to others, establish safe and healthy boundaries, and find joy. It is about getting to know yourself fully and completely.
That is where SuKura comes in. She is a licensed professional counselor whose goal is to create a safe space, free of judgment, where clients can come to be authentically them. She helps clients to become the best version of themselves, even if that means referring them to someone who is better suited to help.
SuKura works with a variety of age groups — from children and adolescents to adults. She frequently assists clients with symptoms of depression, anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, psychosis, and extreme trauma. You could say she is an expert in helping others heal from within.
SuKura has a caring nature and a passion for seeing people not only succeed—but shine—in life. She has a client-centered approach. The client is the expert, as they should be. They know what is working and not working, they might just need a little guidance or a change of perspective. SuKura asks the questions to help empower clients so they can find a renewed sense of joy and hope to make positive change in their lives.
